Welcome back to Week 2 of the W3E League, where the best teams in the world battle it out in EV.io! Last week, we saw some amazing gameplay and surprises, but the action is just heating up.
Results:
- AoK loses to XBorg NA in a 0-2 fashion. AoK couldn’t stand up to the giants over at Xborg this week but hopefully they can learn and improve for next week’s games. Xborg had the upper hand in both games and ended with a very convincing win over AoK.
- MMG takes the win over SAGE Esports with a clean 2-0 victory. MMG just had better team play and overall map control over the sage team. Sage has not had the best start to the W3E league but hopefully they can turn things around.
- Dumplings vs. Floating birds was a neck and neck match up! Both teams won one game a piece. Dumplings take map one and Floating birds take the second in very close matches. This matchup was very intense up until the very end. Kills were very back and forth and had us all at the edge of our seats.
- Eternity NA vs. Eternity EU was the match up of the week! This was the proving ground of which Eternity region was better and EU barely came out on top with a very close 2-0 victory. The games were extremely close and one game ended in just a 1 kill deficit.
- The battle between two SE Asia giants, Delta SEA and YGG ended in a close 2-0 victory. Delta took the win over YGG but they were immensely close games. Delta only won by a couple kills each game. They showed up and proved they were the better SE Asian team this time around.
- XBorg EU takes a 2-0 Victory over the Hot Heads. XBorg Eu are our reigning champions from the first W3E championships but the Hot Heads were not so easily beaten. Hot Heads definitely didn’t go down without a fight and in fact almost won the second game, leading in several periods of the battle.
- XBorg Suwy goes 2-0 this week against LaSSo, our newest members of the W3E league. Rough first game for LaSSo playing against one of the best teams in the league right off the start. Lasso put up a good fight but their efforts fell a bit short. XBorg was just the better team this week.
- Lastly IntroXpector forfeited against Eternity EUC after failing to turn up in time.
